RESOLUTION NO. 12-92
A RESOLUTION INCREASING THE COMMERCIAL WATER RATES OF MOAB
WHEREAS, the Governing Body of the City of Moab finds it
necessary to increase commercial water rates.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Moab City Council that
the rates for commercial water users shall be as follows:
Commercial within the City:
Minimum charge, 2,000 gallons or less per month $9.00.
Next 3,000 gallons, $2.00 per thousand gallons.
Next 5,000 gallons, $0.51 per thousand gallons.
Next 40,000 gallons, $0.59 per thousand gallons.
All over 50,000 gallons, $0.70 per thousand gallons.
Commercial outside the City:
Minimum charge, 2,000 gallons or less per month $18.00
Next 3,000 gallons, $4.00 per thousand gallons
Next 5,000 gallons, $1.02 per thousand gallons.
Next 40,000 gallons, $1.18 per thousand gallons.
All over 50,000 gallons, $1.40 per thousand gallons.
EFFECTIVE DATE of this resolution shall take effect on July
1st 1992.
PASSED AND APPROVED in open Council by a majority vote of the
Governing Body of Moab City Council this 16th day of June , A.D.,
1992.
