Mayor Yrintup said that inasmuch as they had all received copies of the
proposal of Barton-Aschman Associates and had heard the representative from
Faroland Bartholomew and Associates at a previous meeting, that he would like an
opinion regarding the proposals. Mr. Maley outlined the written proposal. of
Harland Bartholomew and after discussion with the Council on the re?.ative merits
of each firm the Council decided that: per:'.aps the fee of Barton-Aschman Associates
could be negotiated as a great deal et the material they needed was readily avail-
able in our office. It was moved ey Mr. laplin, seconded by Mr. Fresh and
unanimously voted that Bal Larbour Village hire Barton-Archm:n Associates, Inc.
to make a study of the oceanfront, shunt to Mr. Maley being able to work out a
satisfactory fee for the study not to e4ceed S11,000.00.
