No 106-165_ Date of Adoption Hay 17 J~06 AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL PLANNING SERVICES CONTRACT WITH MEDINA CONSULTING FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE SOLDIERS' AND SAILORS' MONUMENT WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of professional engineering services for the Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument restoration project; and WHEREAS, Medina Consulting possesses the requisite knowledge, skill and experience to complete said professional engineering services; and WHEREAS, Medina Consulting has proposed to perfonn the above described engineering services in an amount not to exceed $7,500.00; and WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council have considered said proposal; WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or will be available for said purpose. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough ofCarteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows: 1. That the proposal of Medina Consulting to provide professional engineering services with regard to the Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument restoration project in the amount not to exceed $7,500.00 is hereby approved. 2. That this action is approved as an award of a professional services contract. 3. That a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to the Borough's Purchasing Department, the Borough Engineer and Medina Consulting.
