Trash and Recycling Collection in Leesburg Cancelled for
Friday, March 2, 2018, Due to High Wind Warning
Collections will be made on Saturday, March 3, 2018.
Leesburg, VA (March 1, 2018) – Due to the high wind warning issued for the Leesburg area,
trash and recycling collections in the northeast and northwest quadrants of Leesburg have been
cancelled for Friday, March 2, 2018.
Residential customers should not put trash and recycling containers at the curb this evening.
Trash and recycling will be collected on Saturday, March 3, 2018 in the northeast and northwest
quadrants of town.
In addition, residents are advised to secure or bring inside any loose items, such as patio
furniture and toys, to avoid damage.
