MEDINA CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES OF DECEMBER 4, 2006
The City Council of Medina, Minnesota met in special session on December 4, 2006 at
6:30 p.m. in Medina City Fall for the Truth in Taxation Public Hearing.
I. Call to Order
Members present: Weir, Cavanaugh, Smith and Workman
Members absent: Brinkman
Also present: Finance Director Jeanne Day
II. Video Presentation
The meeting began with a ten minute LMC Video Presentation.
III. Public Hearing
The public hearing was opened at 6:40 p.m.
No one was present from the public.
The public hearing closed at 6:40 p.m.
IV. Staff Presentation
Day provided a presentation of the proposed 2007 general fund budget of $3,750,595.
The proposed 2007 taxes were $2,150,000 and the proposed tax rate comparison was
15.36%.
V. Council Comments
No discussion was made by the Council.
Moved and seconded to adjourn the meeting at 6:47 p otion passed unanimously.
