RESOLUTION NO. 97 -3611
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE
CITY UPHOLDING THE PLANNING COMMISSION'S APPROVAL OF
CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT 97 -1305 AND ZONE VARIANCE 97 -1307
TO ALLOW AN ENTERTAINMENT USE AT 5449 ROSEMEAD
BOULEVARD IN THE C -3 ZONE (FEATHER'S BAR & GRILL)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES HEREBY RESOLVE:
SECTION 1. Based upon testimony received at a noticed public hearing before the City Council
and upon facts contained in the Planning Commission Minutes, staff reports and Planning Commission
Resolutions, the City Council hereby sustains the Planning Commission's decision and approves Conditional
Use Permit 97 -1305 and Zone Variance 97 -1307 based upon the findings and subject to the conditions
contained in Planning Commission Resolution No. 97- 1851PC and Planning Commission Resolution No. 95-
1783PC.
SECTION 2. This project should not result' in significant effects upon the environment and a
Negative Declaration has been prepared in accordance with the State CEQA Guidelines. The initial
statement as prepared indicates that there is no potential for adverse impact to the environment as it
relates to all wild animals, birds, plants, fish, amphibians and related ecological communities, including the
habitat upon which the wildlife depends for its continued viability.
SECTION 3. Accordingly, the Conditional Use Permit and Zone Variance are approved subject
to all of the conditions contained in Planning Commission Resolution No. 97- 1851PC and Planning
Commission Resolution No. 95- 1783PC. Said Resolutions require, among other things, a six month review
by the granting body., for purposes of conducting the six month review, the Planning Commission shall be
designed as the granting body, however, any action taken by the Planning Commission at the time of the
six month review, including an action to renew and extend the C.U.P., may be appealed by the City
Council
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to passage and adoption of this resolution and enter
it into the book of original resolutions.

Council of the City of Temple City at a regular meeting held on 17th day of June, 1997 by the following
