Wayne Neddermeyer - Mayor in Chair Priscilla Arens - Clerk All member present together' with our guests, Sen. n orFe Pillsbury, Rep. S,lisbury Adams and Rep. Tad Jude. Moor Neddermeyer opened the meeting and asked Robert Franklin to lead the Discussions Sens Pillsbury and Rep. Adams discussed the Metro Trails legislation, Taxes, Green Acres and- Welfare. and related matters. There were a number of questions and statements from the audience. Seconded by Donald Des Laurlers Motion carried The minutes of the Planning Commission meeting -of November 1973 reed. The "Quotes" for a new policy car were opened as follows: Routson Chevrolet -Odds, Inc. �3,987.64 Velie Olds 3,970.17 Lupient Olds 3,e46.24 The above "quotes" are for 1974 with a 1972 Olds, tra.e-in. Moved by Robert Franklin to accept the low "quote" of Lupient of 1t3,846.24. Seconded by Thomas Stevens Motion carried 10 a Conference with Architect Anderson and Contractor Cates. Moved by Robert Franklin the.t we pay the sack charge and half of the survey check and the con- tractor to pay the whole amount of the State permit. Seconded by Donald Des Lauriers Motion carried Moved by Arthur Theis to approve the contract with the Suburban Health Nursing Servide for 1974 and authorieepayment of the fee of '4814.64. Seconded by Donald Des Lauriers Motion carried. Bob Feser and his attorney, William Miller, and also Mr. French of the Park Reserve appeared, discussed land acquisition, roads, etc. Further discussion. Dr. Schroeder of the Minnesota Equine Hospital and Clinic. Moved by Robert Franklin to authorize the Planning Commission to hold a public hearing to amend the zoning code regarding animal clinics. Seconded by Arthur Theis Motion carried Moved by Donald Des Lauriers to adopt Resolution 73-22, establishing Revenue Sharing Fund, Same attached hereto. Seconded by Thomas Stevens Motion carried. Moved by Donald Des Lauriers to adopt Ordinance 148 with regard to mo Ting buildings over Village roads. Copy of same attached. Seconded by Arthur Theis Motion carried. Discussion with regard to new police officer. v Anne Dorweiler prese-rted site plans for Medine')Lake Bus Co. Moved by Donald Des Lauriers to grant approval to the Medicine Lake Bus Co. application, as shown on plans presented, which show no outside storage, and that drainage plan presented be adhered to; and that measures be taken this Fall tohalt the erosion occuring on the site; and that a variance be granted for a driveway 50 feet wide, subject to them obtaining the proper permits and a S10,000.00 performance bond. Seconded by Arthur Theis Motion carried. Moved by Robert Franklin to reject the -proposed Garrision Division on High- way #55 because is is less than five acres. Seconded by Donald Des Lauriers Motion carried. Moved by Robert Franklin to appoint Bernice Sipe to the Plannin# Commission. Moved by Thomas Stevens to appoint Julia Porter to the Planning Commission. Moved by Donald Des Lauriers to close the nominations. Seconded by Robert Frrnklin Motion carried 11 Result of voting: Bernice Sipe - 4 Julia Porter - 1 Moved by Donald Des Lauriers to appoint Beratee Si-.;�e as a member tothe Planning Commission until March 1, 1974. Seconded by Robert Franklin Motion carried. Moved by Thomas Stevens to pay the bills as follows: Payrn In the amount of 8,733.80 and order chec$s in the amount of »S36,119.90. Seconded by Donald Des Lauriers Motion carried Moved by Donald Des Lauriers to authorize Robert Franklin to go to Conciliation Court with regard to time Alfred Merz and Douglas Zumbusch for delinquent bills for oiling road in front of this homes. Seconded by Thomas Stevens Motion carried. Clerk instructed to write Mr. William A. Riek, Guardian of Ernest Cunningham with regard to the bill for bridge repair caused by Mr. Cunningham. Announced Suburban League of Municipalities meeting of December 13, 1973 at Hopkins House, Highway #7. Moved by Robert Franklin thatthe meeting adjourn.
