RESOLUTION APPROVING BUS STOP CHANGES .. ~
ON WASHINGTON A VENUE
BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret, County of
Middlesex, State of New Jersey.
That pursuant to NJ.S.A. 39:4-8(e) the following described locations are designated as bus
stops:
ADDED BUS STOP:
I
County Road
1. Along W ashington Avenue, Eastbound, on the southerly side thereof at:
a. High Street - (Far Side)
Beginning at the easterly curb line of High Street and extending 100' easterly
therefrom.
DELETED BUS STOPS:
2. Along W ashington Avenue, Eastbound, on the southerly side thereof at:
a. High Street - (Near Side)
Beginning at the westerly curb line of High Street and extending 105' westerly
therefrom.
b. Locust Street - (Far Side)
Beginning at the easterly curb line of Locust Street and extending 105' easterly
therefrom.
That the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret will enforce the needed traffic
regulations governing the aforementioned bus stop location and provide the necessary police
security to ensure the safety of the traveling public.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution shall take effect upon approval of the
Commissioner of Transportation as provided by law.
