A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
AUTHORIZING AN EXTENSION OF THE
AGREEMENT WITH -:ADMINISTRATIVE
INCORPORATED, (DBA) „- FIESTA TAXI
TRANSPORTATION SERVICES FOR SENIOR
ENDING NO LATER THAN DECEMBER 1, 2009
OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
CURRENT MONTH-TO-MONTH
SERVICES COOPERATIVE,
FOR THE PROVISION 'OF
CITIZENS AND THE DISABLED
WHEREAS, the term of this agreement was for the five-year period of October
21, 2003 to October 30, 2008; and
WHEREAS, said contract expired on October 30, 2008 and an extension on the
current month to month agreement expired on May 31, 2009; and
WHEREAS, a second extension was approved through August 31, 2009 in order
to allow for the processing of a new RFP; and
WHEREAS, a further extension of the month-to-month agreement is needed in
order to continue services until a final disposition, of the new contract has concluded.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES HEREBY FIND, ORDER, AND
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The existing Contract with Administrative Services Cooperative, Inc
is hereby amended to extend the term of the Agreement on a month-to-month basis
ending no later than December 1, 2009, pursuant to approval of the form of the
amendment by the City Attorney.
Section 2. All other provisions of the existing agreement remain in force.
Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its
adoption.
