RESOLUTION NO. 97 -3629
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY
AMENDING THE SALARIES FOR FISCAL YEAR 1997 -98.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES HEREBY RESOLVE,
DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Compensation
A. As listed in Table I, the schedule of classifications, pay ranges and steps constitute the
compensation plan applicable to all full time employees. This compensation plan is
effective September 1, 1997.
B. As listed in Table II, the schedule of classifications, pay ranges and steps constitute the
compensation plan applicable to all part time employees. This compensation plan is
effective September 1, 1997.
SECTION 2. Cost of Living Increase
A. A cost of living increase of 2% will be provided to all full time and part time employees
effective September 1, 1997.
B. A salary adjustment of 3% will be provided to all full time employees (excluding
management) and all part time employees effective September 1, 1997.
C. A salary adjustment of 6.2% will be provided to the City Manager effective September 1,
1997.
SECTION 3. Administration of the Compensation Plan
A. The employee shall be eligible to receive one step increase within the range of the position
at the time of the annual evaluation.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
