Mason Enterprise Center Hosts Quarterly HUBZone “Contractor
Chat” on April 16, 2018, in Leesburg
Small businesses interested in federal contracting or HUBZone certification are
invited to attend this free informational meeting.
Leesburg, VA (April 6, 2018) – The Mason Enterprise Center in Leesburg will hold its next
quarterly HUBZone Business Meeting on Monday, April 16, 2018, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.,
at the Mason Enterprise Center in downtown Leesburg (202 Church Street SE). The meeting is
free and open to all small businesses. Lunch will be provided.
This quarter’s guest speakers include Brian Lederhouse, SBA Business Opportunity Specialist,
who will discuss and answer questions regarding applications and compliance issues; and
Michael Bozeth, Employer Services Coordinator – Loudoun Workforce Center, who is working
on matching employers with candidates based upon industry type and the nature of the work
to be done.
A program of the U.S. Small Business Administration, the HUBZone program helps small
businesses gain preferential access to federal procurement opportunities while increasing
employment opportunities in economically distressed areas. In an effort to assist local
businesses with navigating the HUBZone certification process, the Mason Enterprise Center and
Leesburg Economic Development Office have partnered with local business owners who have
completed the process successfully to present quarterly information sharing meetings.
