Wayne Neddermeyer - Mayor in Chair Priscilla Arens - Clerk Wayne Neddermeyer, Donald Des Lauriers, Arthur Theis and Thomas Stevens present. The minutes of the meeting of November 8, 1972 read. Moved by Donald Des.Lauriers that the minutes be approved as read.. Seconded by Thomas Stevens Motion carried. The minutes of the Planning Commission meeting of November 20, 1972 read. Stuart Wells appeared with a registered land survey which included two small parcels. Moved by Thomas Stevens to approve the registered land smrvey submitted by Stuart Wells with a variance under Ordinance 118.for' .Parcels A and C, namely that parcel A which is going to be part of the Orville Volkmann.property cannot be built -on and allow a variance on Lot C which is under five acres with. the payment of a $1,750.00 park fee. Seconded by Donald Des Lauriers Motion carried. Donald Des Lauriers abstained. Moved by .Thomas Stevens that the Coumoil approve. the transfer of the on -sale liquor license from Glampe's Cafe and Resort to the First American, Inc. and Douglas Wall and Louis McKenna. Seconded by Donald Des Lauriers Motion carried license Moved by Donald Des Lauriers to grant an off -sale liquor /to Douglas Wall of the First American, Inc. for the period Bfom December 11, 1972 through June 30, 1973. Seconded by Thomas Stevens Motion carried. Moved by Thomas Stevens to grant a Sunday liquor license to Douglas Wall of. First American, Inc. from December 11, 1972 through June 30, 1973. Seconded by Donald Des Lauriers Motion carried Moved by Donald Des Lauriers to grant an0 off -sale and anfi on -sale ien-intoxicating malt liquor license to Douglas Wall of the First American, Inc. for the period from December 11, 1972 to June 30, 1973. Seconded by Thomas Sevens Motion carried. Moved by Thomas Stevens to reduce the budget by $600.00 for the year 1973 in compliance with the recommendation of the Assistant Finance Director of Hennepin County. Seconded by Donald Des Lauriers Motion carried. Dr. Bergstrom appeared regarding to his septic system. Discussion as to when a sewer system may come. William Mills will answer the letter'from the Pollution Control. Moved by Thomas Stevens that we authorize William Mills to come up with a preliminary engineering report on the Independence Beach and Medina-Morningside areas/approximately a cost of $2700.00. 108 Seconded by Arthur Theis Motion carried. Gerald Dykhoff appeared with regard to stances on t':e building permits for the Medina Industrial Park. Discussion and study of architects" plans. Moved by Thomas Stevens that we hire Anne Dorweiler at the rate of $4.50 per hour as a Planning and Zoning Administrator until March 1, 1973. Seconded by'Dona}d Des Lauriers Motion carried. Moved by Arthur Theis to pay the bills as follows: Payroll in the amount of .8,158.40 and Order Checks in the amount of $133,966.93. Seconded by Thomas Stevens Motion carried. Moved byema Stevens to authorize the payiient for the tuition fees for Russel Bouley to go to the Building Inspector's school at the Univerdsity of Minnesota in Januray. Seconded by Arthur Theis . Motion carried. A letter fr m A�tQrney Lindquist of WCCo that they have filed the Resolution covering theYffse"Permit with the Register of Deeds for Hennepin County, as Document No. 3983987. Also a letter from Gordon Mikkelson regarding a survey of migration of birds. A letter from State Tax Department regarding 1973 Metropolitan Sewer Board Billings. Announcement Hennepin County League of Municipalities meeting December 14th at 6 P. M. at the Hopkins House in Hopkins. Moved by Thomas Stevens that the meeting adjourns Seconded by Arthur Theis.. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 12:10 A. M. December 6th.
