Home My Public Portal About023-2000 - Rezoning - 19 N 13th St.ORDINANCE NO. 23-2000 AN SPECIAL ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP AT 19 NORTH 13TH STREET, RICHMOND, INDIANA WHEREAS, the Zoning Map designates and describes the property at 19 North 13th Street as R-4 Multi-Family Residential District; and WHEREAS, it is desirable to change the zoning designation to the Special Use District to allow the continued use of the property for philanthropic purposes; NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, that the zoning designation of the property described below is hereby changed to a SU Special Use District within the R-4 Multi-Family Residential district to allow the continued use of the property for philanthropic purposes: A part of lots four hundred thirty-six (436) and four hundred thirty-five (435) in that part of the City of Richmond, Indiana, laid out by Elizabeth Starr, and described as follows: Beginning at the southwest corner of said lot number four hundred thirty-five (435); thence north eighty-three and 1/10 (83.1) feet to a point in the west line of said lot number four hundred thirty-six (436), and ten and 50/100 (10.50) feet south of the northwest corner thereof; thence east one hundred sixty-five and 5/10 (165.5) feet to the east line of said lot number four hundred thirty-six (436); thence south eighty-three and 1/10 (83.1) feet to the southeast corner of said lot number four hundred thirty-five (435); thence west along the south line of said lot to the place of beginning; and being all of said lot number four hundred thirty-five (435), and all of said lot number four hundred thirty-six (436), except ten and 5/10 (10.5) feet off of the north side thereof.
