Whereas, it appears to the City Council of the City of Moab, Utah,
that in order to adequately maintain and properly care for the City sewer
system it is neoessary that rates be charged for sewer service furnished
by the City.
Now, therefore, be it resolved by the City Council of Moab City, Grand
County, Utah, that the sewer rates for sewer service furnished by the City
shall be as follows:
Section 1. The monthly rate for seems service furnished by the
City is hereby fixed and determined as follows:
For sever service furnished to any peraon who is furnished water
by the City, the monthly sum of 50/, with an additional fee of 50/
for each additional unit with provision for cooking and 251 for each
additional unit without cooking facilities.
For sever service furnished to any other parson the monthly
sum of $1.00, plus the additional fees of 50/ for each additional
unit with provision for cooking and 25/ for eaoh additional unit
without cooking facilities.
Section 2. The rates herein provided shall be eolleoted monthly
by the water superintendent and paid into the City Treasury.
Section S. Any user of the City sewer who shall fail to pay the
sewer charges as herein provided, shall be sugjeot to the penalties provided
for in ordinanoe No. 24.
Seotion 4. This resolution shall take effect on November 1, 1949.
