WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of Moab,
Grand County, Utah, that a change in the water rates for the s pply of water from
the City Water System is necessary in order to adequately maintain the water
system within said city:
NOW, TVP REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Moab, Grand County, Utah,that the water rates for the supply of water
furnished by said City shall be as follows:
1. The monthly rates for the supply of water furnished by the
City through its water system, where no meter is installed, until such time
as the City is able to install meters, shall be paid monthly in advance, as
the City Council may determine, and are hereby fixed and determined as follows
To property within the limits of Moab City:

flowers or shrubs
dwellings for one
family,
but not including laws,
For each additional family tenant in said house carrying on
housekeeping

For sprinkling lawns, flowers, plants and shrubs $1.50
Water for chicken coops or farms, per tap $ ,75
2. The rates for water supplied by Moab City through the water
system for said city where a meter is installed, within the limits of said
City, are hereby fixed and determined as follows;

For each 1,000 gallons in excess of 5,000 gallons, per month - -

City through its water system to premises located outside
of Moab shall be double the rates above set forth.
AND BE IT FORTHER RESOLVED that this resolution
July 1, 1950.
