A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE O INFRASTRUCTURE IN
WHISPERING WINDS PHAS: II
WHEREAS, the Final Plat for Whispering Wind Subdivision Phase II was
approved by the Greencastle Plan Commission on July 22, 2019; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission approved waivin the posting of surety for the
subdivision at that time; and
WHEREAS, the infrastructure has been inspected by city departments including
the city engineer, utilities superintendent, director of public works and city planner; and
WHEREAS, the developer is in agreement to pay the city for infrastructure not
yet completed as outlined in the attached letter; and
WHEREAS, the Greencastle Board of Works ha reviewed the information at
their regular meeting on March 16, 2022; and
WHEREAS, the Greencastle Board of Works rec mmends approval contingent
on submittal of Surety acceptable to the Clerk Treasurer; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Works recommends a proval of the arrangements
outlined in the attached letter; and
WHEREAS, the Greencastle Subdivision Ordinance Article 4.9
Completion/Acceptance of Improvements B3 states "the City Council shall approve a
resolution, accepting the improvements;" and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLOVED that the I reencastle Common Council
authorizes the acceptance of said infrastructure as outline in that attached letter.
PASSED AND RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle
on this 1 \ th day of April 2022.
