RESOLUTION NO. 97 -3640
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE
CITY DENYING ZONE VARIANCE 97 -1314 TO CONVERT AND
LEGALIZE AN TLL F,GALLY CONSTRUCTED AND INHAB1TJ D
STRUCTURE WHICH IS SITUATED TWO FEET INSTEAD OF THE
REQUIRED FIVE FEET FROM THE NORTH SIDE PROPERTY LINE
AND EIGHT FEET RATHER THAN THE REQUIRED FIFTEEN FEET
FROM THE REAR PROPERTY LINE IN THE LOW DENSITY (R -1)
RESIDENTIAL ZONE AT 6253 MUSCATEL AVENUE (GABRIEL)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES HEREBY RESOLVE:
SECTION 1. Based upon testimony received at a noticed hearing before the City Council and
upon facts contained in the staff' report, as well as information and testimony contained in the Planning
Commission Minutes and the Planning Commission Staff Report, the City Council hereby denies the
requested Zone Variances based upon the findings and matters of fact contained in Planning Commission
Resolution No. 97- 1861PC.
SECTION 2. The City Council hereby upholds the decision of the Planning Commission and
denies Zone Variance No. 97 -1314 for property addressed as 6253 Muscatel Avenue.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to passage and adoption of this resolution and enter
it into the book of original resolutions.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution, Resolution No. 97 -3640, was adopted by the City
Council of the City of Temple City at a regular meeting held on the 21st day of October, 1997 by the
following vote:
AYES: Councilman- Brook, Wilson, Gillanders, Solider
NOES: Councilman -None
ABSENT: Councilman - Breazeal
