REGULAR MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF MEDINA
DECEMBER 6,1961
Meeting called to order at $ PM.
Members present Arens, Gertz Scott and Rohl. Absent Winterhalter.
Minutes of meeting of November 7,1961 were read. Motion by Herb
Arens to accept minutes as read, Second by Arthur Gertz, Motion
carried.
A meeting will be set up with Wright Hennepin Coop Electtic Assn.
in February to discuss their request for a franchise.
Bids on gas wall heater were tabled.
Land Title summons for Lots 20,21 and 22, Block 19, Indpendence
Beach plat for registration of land was laid aside, Village has
no claim.
Mrs. Lambert Berry was present and reiigned from the telephone
committee, as she has moved from the Village. Motion by R. Roehl
to pay Glampe food bill, Village will not be responsible for
further bills unless authorized by village officers, second by
Herb Arens, motion carried.
Motion by Arthur Gertz to purchase Severson self feeding material
spreader for $450.00, second by Herb Arens, Motion carried.
V. F. W. building permit application was tabled.
Weed inspectors report and bill was presented, it was decieded to
wait for a more itimized report before bill is paid.
Action on Hennepin Councy League of Towns and Municipalities was
proposed full time secretary was tabled.
Motion by R. Roehl to grant Rochie Begin special use permit to
build a home on tract B, Registered Land survey ## 496, second by
Arthur Gertz, Motion carried.
The Building inspector repoarted that the building on Willared
Miller property which was in violation of code has been removed.
Motion by Herb Arens to ask the planning commission to study the
sewage disposal ordinance and recommend any changes they feel
necessary, second by Arthur Gertz, motion carried.
The Road committee was to contact the village of Orona about
snow plowing in Welcome Acres.
