The meeting was called to order by Mayor Robert Scott. All members were
present. The minutes of the regular meeting of November 3, 1a65, were read.
Eugene Pulju made the motion that the minutes be accented as read. Harold
Winterhalter seconded the motion. The motion was carried.
No response has been rec>ived from Mr. G. F. Welch, District Engine^r, in
regard to posting speed limits on Village roads in Medina Morningside.
Mr. Bury of Bury and Carlson was present to discuss the Trill for street repairs
in Medina Morningside. Harold Winterhalter made the motion to pay the $252
invoice for work done on Medina Morningside roads by Bury and Carlson. -�ugene
Pulju seconded the motion. The motion was carried.
The bill for lamp post repair from snowplowing was laid over until more information
can be found out about it.
Harold Winterhalter made the motion to authorize the paying of the balance of
101, $321,24, to Plehal Blackton as the balance of the bill for seal coating
Medina Morningside. Raymond Bosch seconded the motion. The motion was carried.
Mr. Al Thies requested a building permit on a lot of Mr. Hussman's. Mr. William
Seitz, Mr. Hussman's attorney was present. A building permit was not issued.
Mr. Seitz was told to bring back the old plans and to discuss them with the.
Planning Commission.
Harold Winterhalter made the motion granting the Medina, Colonial Drive -In Theatre
a building permit provided that the necessary structural drawings and designs
meeting with the approval of the Bui 1 ding Inspector and the Village a.gineer. .
Raymond Bosch seconded the motion. The motion was carried.
The salary of the clerk when Plan A type government becomes effective was
discussed.
Wayne Neddermeyer made the motion that Raymond Bosch be designated to take care
of the police duties in the absence of Chief of Police Robert Scott. Harold
Winterhalter seconded the motion. The motion was carried.
Raymond Bosch made the motion to authorize Ivtr. Haugen to draw up an Ordinance
regarding cigarette lic-nsing. Harold Winterhalter seconded the motion. The
motion was (tarried.
An ad was 'dictated to be sent to the Minneton'oa Herald for publication for the
Position of Clerk of Medina Village. It reads as follows:
The Village of Medina will interview candidates for the position of part time
Village Clerk. Applicants should be -- residents of F.redina Village, fermi lar
with boo' -,keeping, typing essential, shorthand preferred, must be 21 years or
older. Working conditions and salary to be negotiated. Applicants apply
stating qualifications to Clerk Wayne Neddermeyer, Route 2, Box 353, Long Ta':.e,
Minnesota. Telephone - LL73 5?r2.
A special meeting is to be held to appoint the clerk.
Wayne Neddermeyer made the motion to renew the permit for the Boyer Sanitary
Tand fill. Raymond Bosch seconded the motion. The motion was carried.
Wayne Veddarmeyer, William Rudolph and Arthur Theis were sworn in.

Wayne Neddermeyer made the motion that the following resolution be accepted.
Raymond Bosch seconded the motion. The motion was carried.
Whereas Highway 1.12 passes throuvh the Village of Medina and whereas it is
inade?uate to carry safely the present and constantly increasing traffic flow,
now therefore be it resolved by the Village Council of the Village of Medina
that the Commissioner of Highways be urged that all possible speed be made in
the improvement of the highway.
