Milling and Paving Work to Begin on Monday, April 23, 2018,
in Downtown Leesburg
Leesburg, VA (April 20, 2018) – As part of the Town of Leesburg’s annual street surfacing
program, the following road segments are scheduled for milling and paving work beginning on
Monday, April 23, 2018.
Loudoun Street, from Wirt Street to Dry Mill Road
Milling on Monday, April 23
Paving on Wednesday, April 25
North King Street, from Cornwall Street to Battlefield Parkway
Milling on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 24 and April 25
Paving on Thursday, April 26
West Market Street, from Wirt Street to Memorial Drive
Milling on Thursday, April 26
Paving on Friday, April 27
Work hours will be from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. During milling and paving operations, crews will
close one lane of the street at a time, so motorists should expect delays. In addition, no on -
street parking will be allowed during the scheduled milling and paving operations.
The schedule above is subject to inclement weather delays. Milling and paving must be done
under dry conditions. Any changes to the above schedule will be advertised via notices to the
Town’s website (www.leesburgva.gov), Facebook page (www.facebook.com/LeesburgVirginia),
