The Council of the Village of Medina met in regular session on Tuesday, December
7, 1971 at 7:35 P. M.
Wayne Neddermeyer - Mayor in Chair
Priscilla Arend - Clerk
Wayne Neddermeyer, Donald Des Lauriers, Arthur Theis
and Robert Franklin present.
The minutes of the meeting of November 3, 1971 read. Moved by Donald Des
Lauriers that the minutes be approved as read.
Seconded by Robert Franklin
Motion carried.
The minutes of the special meeting of November 16, 1971 read. Moved by Arthur
Theis that the minutes be approved as read.

The minutes of the Planning Commission meeting of November 15, 1971 read.
Walter Kohnen appeared with regard to the gravel on the street in Independence
Heights Development. He was advised he could have 4 inches pit run, brought up
to 6 inches with #5 gravel when tested on November 1, 1972 and a bond posted.
Discussion with Mrs. Boyer with regard to landfill license. Moved by Robert
Franklin to set Mrs. Boyer license for the landfill at $750.00 per year.

Moved by Robert Franklin to grant a dance permit to the Holy Name Youth Group
to hold three dances between tt_e dates of January 8th, 1972 through April
22, 1972 on the condition that they notifyLthe police department in plenty
time of the individual dates, no charge for permit.

Discussed burning ordinance - further research. Moved by Robert Franklin
that the Village Council hereby determine that the Village of Medina has
adequate refuse collection service as required by the Minnesota Pollution
Control AgencyTc^

Tax matters - Adjustment of budget - Have to wait for material from State.
Moved by Arthur Theis to enter into a contract wit(: the Suburban Hennepin
County Nursing Service for 1972 and also pay the bill for $814.64 for such
services.

Robert Franklin, yes; and Wayne Neddermeyer, yes.

Moved by Robert Franklin to approve the attached Resolution asking Hennepin
County to assume ownership and maintenance of Boyer Road and Hamel Road between
County Rd. 19 and Boyer Land Fill.

Ken Franeand Mike Marmon of the M & B. Construction appeared with a septic
situation of Mr. Franet. Discussed the matter with R. Bouley and he will
take care of the matter.
A complaint with regard to lawn, drain tile and driveway damage done by
snowplow was received from James Streeter.
Moved by Donald Des Lauriers to grant necessary funds to purchase the arial
photos for Medina not to exceed $50.00.

Moved by Arthur Theis to pay the bills as follows: payroll in the amount of
7,270.85 and order checks in the amount of $10,662.53.
