COMMUNITY PRESERVATION COMMITTEE May 5, 2011 Minutes

1. The meeting was called to order at 5:00 p.m. in the Skaket Room at Town Hall.
In attendance; Steve Bornemeier, Sue Chrisite, Julia Enroth, Catherine Hertz,
Steve Phillips, Cathy Southworth.
2. There was no public comment.
3. The April 5, 2011 minutes were approved as amended. 5-0-1
4. Review of CPC Town Meeting Warrant Article and Presentation
a. Julia to make motion and give a brief explanation.
b. Need liaisons, monitors and applicants to be present at Town Meeting.
c. Discussion followed.
5. Project Monitoring
a. Academy— Phases 11 & III (Jon Holt)— No new information.
b. Eldredge Park(Cathy Southworth)— No new information.
c. Town Records (Steve Bornemeier)— No new information.
d. Sea Call Farm (Jane Hinckley)—No New information.
e. Hinckley Affordable Housing (Catherine Hertz)— No new information.
f. Condominium Purchase (Alan McClennen)—No new information.
g. OHS Document/ Photograph Restoration (Jon Holt) —Received invoice,
project is moving along.
h. Odd Fellows Hall Restoration (Sue Christie) —Architect will make a
presentation at this meeting.
i. Open Space (Alan McClennen) — No new information.
6. Key Dates and Timeline
a. Next CPC meeting will be June 2
b. Meetings will be booked with the Town Clerk for the first Thursday through
the end of the year.
7. Odd Fellows Hall Restoration Presentation —David MacLean, Architect— Mr.
MacLean made a PowerPoint presentation. His staff also had posters and a
mock up of the proposed renovations and new construction.
8. There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 6:30 p.m.
