Night-time Milling and Paving Work Sunday, April 29, 2018
Through Thursday, May 17, 2018
Leesburg, VA (April 27, 2018) – As part of the Town of Leesburg’s annual street surfacing
program, the following road segments are scheduled for night-time milling and paving work
beginning on Sunday, April 29, 2018.
North King Street, from Market Street to Cornwall Street
East Market Street, from Sycolin Road (near Douglass Community Center) to the Route
7/15 Bypass
Loudoun Street, from King Street to Wirt Street
Catoctin Circle NE, from East Market Street to Edwards Ferry Road
Fort Evans Road, from Sycamore Hills Drive to Battlefield Parkway (eastbound lanes
only)
Work hours will be from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. nightly, Sunday through Thursday. During
milling and paving operations, crews will close one lane of the street at a time, so motorists
should expect delays and follow flagger directions. In addition, no on-street parking will be
allowed during the scheduled milling and paving operations.
The schedule above is subject to inclement weather delays. Milling and paving must be done
under dry conditions. Any changes to the above schedule will be advertised via notices to the
Town’s website (www.leesburgva.gov), Facebook page (www.facebook.com/LeesburgVirginia),
