AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, CORRECTING
REFERENCES TO CHAPTER 32 OF THE CITY CODE CONTAINED WITHIN
APPENDIX Y AND AMENDING CHAPTER 32 SEC. 222 OF THE CITY CODE TO
INCLUDE A REFERENCE TO APPENDIX Y.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Appendix Y — Schedule of Administrative fees, permits, Licenses and
other Charges is amended as follows:

Section 2. Chapter 32 (Streets and Sidewalks) Section (32-222) is amended as
follows:
Sec. 32-222. - Vacating public rights-of-way.
A public right-of-way for any street, alley, avenue, drive, boulevard or other public thoroughfare
may be vacated by ordinance approved by Council. The vacating process may be initiated by
Council or by the following petition process:. If by the petition process the petition shall be
accompanied by a fee as outlined in Appendix Y.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date
of its passage and approval.
