32nd Annual Leesburg Classic Car Show Cruises into
Downtown Leesburg on Saturday, June 2, 2018
Proceeds from the car show benefit programs at Monroe Technology Center.
Leesburg, VA (May 15, 2018) –
Hundreds of street rods, muscle
cars, and classics, model year
1993 and older, will be on
display in downtown Leesburg
on Saturday, June 2, 2018,
during the 32nd annual
Leesburg Classic Car Show. The
car show begins at 5:00 p.m.
and runs until 9:00 p.m.
At 9:00 p.m., over 45 trophies
will be presented for Best of
Show and Spectators’ Choice awards, as well as Principal’s Choice, Mayor’s Choice, and
Merchants’ Choice awards. The individually hand-crafted trophies, designed and created by
Monroe Technology Center students, are highly coveted works of art. The awards ceremony
will take place at the intersection of King and Market Streets. Attendees will receive voting
ballots for the Best of Show and Spectators’ Choice awards upon entry to the show.
Named a “Best Family Friendly Event” in the Loudoun Times-Mirror’s 2017 Best of Loudoun
Awards, the Leesburg Classic Car Show draws visitors from all over the Mid -Atlantic region.
Attendees are encouraged to patronize downtown Leesburg’s restaurants before or after
enjoying the car show.
A $3 per person donation, supporting student programs at Monroe Technology Center (MTC) is
requested. Students at MTC, a Loudoun County Public School, can choose from over 26 areas of
study, many offering industry-specific certifications through the use of tools, technology and
work experience. Proceeds from the car show provide equipment, materials, educational trips,
and scholarships for students.
The Leesburg Classic Car Show would not be possible without this year’s sponsors, including
Country Buick GMC, Caliber Collision, Interstate Moving Relocation Logistics, Battery
Warehouse, Catoctin Automotive, The Tire Shop, BAPS Paint, and the Cobra Car Club. The car
show is a partnership of Loudoun County Public Schools, the Historic Downtown Leesburg
Association, and Capitol TV Productions.
Downtown streets will close at 4:00 p.m. for car show staging. For more information, including
how to register your vehicle for the show, visit www.lcps.org/mtc, email
ClassicCarShow@lcps.org, or call 571-252-2080.
