AWARDING PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT-
WOLFF & SAMSON, P.c.
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of specialized redevelopment
counsel services with regard to various ongoing redevelopment initiatives and
related projects; and
WHEREAS, Wolff & Samson, P.c., One Boland Drive, West Orange, N.J.,
07052, possesses the requisite knowledge and experience to provide said legal
services; and
WHEREAS, Wolff & Samson, P.c., has submitted a proposal to provide said
redevelopment counsel services to the Borough at a cost not to exceed $2,000.00;
and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or will be
available for the payment of said professional legal services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough ofCarteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey that:
1. Wolff & Samson, P.c., is hereby appointed Special
Redevelopment Counsel to perfonn specialized
redevelopment counsel services with regard to various
ongoing redevelopment initiatives and related projects at a
cost not to exceed $2,000.00.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this award is made as a professional
services contract pursuant to NJ.S.A. 40A: 11-5(1)a and is made pursuantto a fair
and open process as provided for by law.
