AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT WITH
CME ASSOCIATES FOR THE TEST PILE PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of specialized engmeenng
services in connection with the Test Pile Program; and
WHEREAS, CME Associates, 1460 Route 9 South, Howell, New Jersey 07731,
possesses the requisite experience and expertise to provide said services; and
WHEREAS~ CME Associates has submitted a proposal to provide said services
at a total cost not to exceed $84,000; and
\VHEREAS, the Mayor and the Counci! have reviewed said proposal; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or will be
available for said purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and the Council of the
Borough ofCalieret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows:
1. The proposal from CME Associates for engineering services related to the
Test Pile Program, at a tota] cost not to exceed $84,000. is hereby
approved;
2. This action is approved as an award of a professional services contract
pursuant to NJ.S.A 40A:11-5(1)(a).
3. A copy of this Resolution be forwarded to the Borough's Purchasing
Department and CME Associates.
