AUTHORIZING UEZ ADMINISTRATION BUDGET FOR FY 2007
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret, an Urban Community, participates with the State
of New Jersey in the UEZ Program which utilizes 67% of the 3% sales tax in the
administration of this program; and
WHEREAS,"the administration budget in the amount of $51,688.70 has been submitted
to the governing body ofthe Borough ofCarteret for review; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that this budget be amended to show a $1,000.00
increase due to required travel expenses for a total 0£$52,689.00 for fiscal year 2007.
WHEREAS, the funds shall be used to subsidize the administrative costs of the UEZ
Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the governing body of the Borongh of
Carteret does approve submission of said UEZ budget for the FY 2007.
