Joshua Didawick Selected as Leesburg’s Next Human
Resources Director
Mr. Didawick will begin his new position on August 13, 2018.
Leesburg, VA (May 30, 2018) – At the Leesburg Town Council
Meeting last night, Town Manager Kaj Dentler announced that
he has hired Joshua Didawick as the Town’s new human
resources director.
“After a thorough and lengthy interview process, Mr. Didawick
was clearly the most qualified candidate,” Dentler said. “I look
forward to his future contributions to our organization in this
important role.”
Didawick is currently the benefits manager for the City of
Memphis, Tennessee, where he oversees the team
responsible for design and delivery of the city’s employee and
retiree benefits. Prior to joining Memphis in 2016, he served
as human resources director for the City of Staunton, Virginia,
from 2011 to 2016. Didawick worked for the City of Winchester, VA from 2004 to 2011, holding
a variety of roles in tax administration, public information , and human resources. He is an
Ensign in the United States Navy Reserve, serving as a human resources officer.
Didawick holds a bachelor’s degree from Bridgewater University in Bridgewater, Virginia, and a
master’s degree from Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia. He, his wife Holly and
their daughter look forward to returning to Virginia. Didawick will begin employment with the
Town on Monday, August 13, 2018.
