Night-time Pavement Striping Work on Battlefield Parkway
and Evergreen Mill Road Delayed Due to Rain
Leesburg, VA (June 11, 2018) – The night-
time pavement striping work on newly
paved portions of Battlefield Parkway and
Evergreen Mill Road will continue through
this week, depending on the weather.
Striping installation requires dry conditions.
Work will begin at 6:30 p.m. each evening
and conclude by 6:00 a.m. each morning.
The work area includes Battlefield Parkway
from South King Street to the Dulles
Greenway and Evergreen Mill Road from Tolbert Lane to Heritage High School, including the
intersections.
During striping operations, crews will maintain one lane of traffic by flagging operations.
Motorists should exercise caution when driving in this area and follow flagger directions.
The work schedule is subject to delays for inclement weather or mechanical difficulties. Any
changes will be posted to the Town’s website (www.leesburgva.gov), Facebook page
(www.facebook.com/LeesburgVirginia), and Twitter account
(www.twitter.com/TownofLeesburg). For more information, please contact Walid Quttaineh,
