MEDINA CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES OF DECEMBER 15, 2011
The City Council of Medina, Minnesota met in special session on December 15, 2011 at
7:00 p.m. at St. Peter and Paul Church in Loretto. Mayor Crosby presided.
I. ROLL CALL
Members present: Crosby, Pederson, Martinson, Siitari, and Weir.
Members absent: None.
Also present: City Administrator Scott Johnson
VII. NEW BUSINESS
A. Fire Department Study
Martin Goughnor and Lane Wintermute from Emergency Services Consulting
International provided the City Council with a presentation regarding the possible merger
of the Hamel and Loretto Fire Departments. All of the entities present agreed to send
representatives to meet and discuss possible options and timelines for merging by
February 2012.
XI. ADJOURN
Moved by Weir, seconded by Siitari, to adjourn the meeting at 8:43 p.m. Motion
passed unanimously.
