RESOLUTION NO. 99-3740
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE
CITY AMENDING THE PERSONNEL RULES AND REGULATIONS
FOR FISCAL YEAR 1998 -99.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES HEREBY RESOLVE,
DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SEC. 6 "At -will Provisions:" "At -will" employment as defined in the Labor Code as employment, having
no specified term, which may be terminated at the will of either party on ten -day notice to the other.
Department directors hired after July 1, 1994, are considered "at- will" and will not enjoy the benefits of
challenging disciplinary actions as described in Rule 15, Section 5 "Appeal Procedures." For purposes of
this section, department directors include:
Assistant City Manager/Public Services Director
Financial Services Director
Community Development Director
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution.

Council of the City of Temple City at a special meeting held on the 11th day of March, 1999, by the
following vote:
AYES: Councilman- Breazeal, Souder, Wilson, Brook, Gillanders
NOES: Councilman -None
ABSENT: Councilman -None
