APPROVAL OF AGENDA Mackenzie entertained a motion to approve the agenda with the amendment to add discussion on the High St. viaduct project to New Business. Katy made a motion to approve the agenda. Keegan seconded the motion. The motion passed with all voting in favor. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Mackenzie entertained a motion to approve meeting minutes from October 23, 2023. Katy made a motion to approve the minutes. Mary seconded the motion. The motion passed with all voting in favor. NEW BUSINESS City engineer David Bange provided an update on the High Street viaduct project. He presented the options provided to City Council. Councilman Mealy indicated Council was interested in two of the five options presented by Bartlett and West. David reported that the firm will come back to the City with requested revisions. They will consult with the Corps of Engineers in the process. OLD BUSINESS Mackenzie reported decent participation in the residential composting survey with the hope to reach 300 soon. She requested that survey results be presented at the next meeting. Mackenzie provided an update on the Council bill for Lafayette Tree Removal fell off the Council informal calendar with no action. There is no immediate plan to remove the trees. Staff will look into other options. OTHER BUSINESS Dawn provided an update on the Ripple bin design contest. One bin is at Extreme for maintenance. The school contest is ongoing, expected to end in February. Stacy asked commission members to consider public education on leaf and grass clippings in roads as they create a hazard for cyclists and pedestrians, along with presenting stormwater issues.
