Board of Electrical Examiners and Review

March 19th , 2024
MEMBERS PRESENT:
Ray Fink
Fred Gladbach

STAFF PRESENT:
Bill Luebbert, Electrical Inspector
COUNCIL LIAISON ABSENT:
Jeff Ahlers, Councilman
The Electrical Board of Examiners and Review met March 19th , 2024, in the Thomas Jefferson Conference
Room of the John G. Christy Municipal Building. The meeting was called to order by Bill Luebbert at 4:06
p.m. A quorum was present.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES FROM January 9th , 2024 MEETING
A motion was made by Joel Vanderslice and seconded by Fred Gladbach to approve the minutes of the
January 9th, 2024 meeting. Motion passed by show of hands.
REVIEW LICENSE APPLICATIONS
• A motion was made by Jim Gooch and seconded by Joel Vanderslice to approve Shelby
Verslues to receive his Journeyman Electrical License. The motion was passed by a show of
hands.
OLD BUSINESS
• None
NEW BUSINESS
• Discussed having homeowners take a nationally recognized residential electrical exam. Ray Fink
made a motion to support using ICC residential electrical test for homeowners to prove electrical
proficiency and seconded by Fred Gladbach. The motion was passed by a show of hands.
SCHEDULE NEXT MEETING
The Electrical Review Board’s next meeting will be May 7th, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. in the Thomas Jefferson
Conference Room.

With no other business, the Board of Electrical Examiners and Review Meeting adjourned at 5:00
p.m.
