CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Ron Fitzwater called the March 18, 2024 City Council “Pre-Meeting” to order at
5:45 P.M. to review the agenda.
ATTENDANCE
The following Councilmembers were present when the meeting convened:
Present: Ahlers, Deeken, Hensley, Lester, Mealy, Schwartz, Spencer, Spicer,
Wiseman, and Wright
Absent: None
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Councilmember Hensley will lead the prayer.
Opportunity for Public Comment
- The Administration Committee approved moving the opportunity for public
comment to the beginng of the agenda, rather than two opportunities later on the
agenda. Each person will have four minutes to speak.
Appointments by the Mayor
- There were no questions at this time.
Consent Agenda
- There were no questions at this time.
Bills Introduced
- City Staff presented their bills to be introduced.
Bills Pending
- City Staff presented their pending bills. Councilmember Spencer intends to place
bill 2023-083 on the informal calendar. Jeff Kelley with Keeley Restoration
requested to speak to staff again regarding his bid related to 2023-083.
- Staff requested bills 2023-084 and 2023-085 also be placed on the informal
calendar. Staff received approval today, from the State of Missouri on the project
associated with 2023-084. This will give bond counsel time to prepare the
documents for 2023-085. The two bills are related.
Informal Calendar
- Councilmember Mealy intends to leave bill 2023-081 on the informal calendar at
this time.

- City Staff presented their resolutions.
