RESOLUTION NO. 99 -3761
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE
CITY PURSUANT TO SECTION 3582 (C) OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE
REVISING THE FEE SCHEDULE FOR THE RENTAL OF VARIOUS
CITY FACILITIES
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES HEREBY RESOLVE:
WHEREAS, the City Council has established guidelines for setting fee schedules for the City's
recreational fee and charge programs; and
WHEREAS, the City currently offers recreational facility rental as part of its fee and charge
services; and
and
WHEREAS, the City of Temple City incurs cost resulting from public utilization of park facilities;
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to recover certain costs associated with public utilization of
park facilities; and
WHEREAS, the establishment of a fee schedule for the rental of City facilities is consistent with
the City Council's direction;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES RESOLVE,
DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to section 3582 (C) of the Temple City Municipal Code relating to facility
rental and permit fees, the following fees shall apply for the rental of the Live Oak Park Community
Center and the Performing Arts Pavilion:
LIVE OAK PARK COMMUNITY CENTER
A. Rental Fees - fees are per hour with a two hour minimum
Meetings/Assemblies (no food served)
under 50 no fee
51-100 $20 1st hour $12 each additional hour
101 -250 $40 1st hour $25 each additional hour
251 -400 $60 1st hour $37 each additional hour
Dining/Banquets
under 50 $20 1st hour $12 each additional hour
60 -125 $40 1st hour $25 each additional hour
126 -300 $60 1st hour $37 each additional hour
Kitchen Fee $25 per use
B. Deposits
$100 security deposit for Meetings (maximum 50)
$300 security deposit for Assemblies
$500 security deposit for Banquets and Dining

The security deposit shall be returned if the following conditions are met:
the facility is left in a satisfactory condition as determined by staff
no City property is missing or damaged
the group leaves on time
C. Staff Fees
$25 per hour charge will be levied on all groups requesting use of facilities at a time when
staff is not normally assigned.
PERFORMING ARTS PAVILION
A. Reservation Fees
$25 per hour
Two hour minimum rental, must include set -up and tear down time in reservation. The
two hour minimum will be waived for reserved use of the Performing Arts Pavilion for
photo shoots.
B. Deposits
$300 security deposit
The security deposit shall be returned if the following conditions are met:
the facility is left in a satisfactory condition as determined by staff
no City property is missing or damaged
the group leaves on time
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution.
