REESTABLISHING THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT ADMINISTRATIVE OFFlCES AND POSITIONS WITHIN THE GENERAL ADMINISTRATIVE DEPARTMENT OF THE BOROUGH OF CARTERET WHEREAS, it is the intent of the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret to provide the most efficient, productive and cost efficient means of delivering vital governmental services so as to promote the public health, safety and welfare while also preserving scarce public resources and easing the loca1 property tax burden on the Borough's residents. NO'''', THEREFORE. BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough ofCarteret as foHows; Section 1. That the administrative offices and positions comprising the Carteret Health Department Administrative Offices shal1 be and are hereby subsumed in, and reestablished as part of, the General Administrative Department and Offices of the Borough. Section 2. All ordinances and/or provisions thereof inconsistent with the provision of this ordinance shal1 be and are hereby repealed as to the extent of any such inconsistencies. Section 3. If any section, subsection, part, clause or phrase of this ordinance shal1 be declared invalid by judgment of any Court of competent jurisdiction, the section, subsection, part, clause or phrase shall be deemed to be severable from lhe remainder of this ordinance.
