A SPECIAL ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP AT
3767NATIONAL ROAD EAST, RICHMOND, INDIANA
WHEREAS, the Zoning Map designates and describes the property at 3767 National Road East asnmC-2 Commercial District; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable to change the zoning designation to the Special Use District to allow the continued use of the property for a service station;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, that the zoning designation of the property described below is hereby changed to a SU Special Use
District within the C-2 Commercial District to allow the use of the property for a service station:
Part of the Southwest Quarter of Section 35, Township 14 North, Range 1 West in the City of Richmond, Wayne County, Indiana, being more particularly described as follows: Commencing
at a railroad spike at the Southwest corner of said quarter section; thence North 89 degrees 47 minutes 00 seconds West (assumed bearing) along the south line of said quarter section
a distance of 1444.85 feet to the Southeast Corner of a 11.667 acre tract described in Instrument Number 1997003884; thence North 00 degrees 04 minutes 24 seconds East along the East
line thereof a distance of 806.58 feet to the Northeast corner thereof, said point on the South right-of-way line of U.S.Highway 40; thence South 87 degrees 44 minutes 23 seconds West
along the North line thereof, along the said South right-of-way line of U.S. Highway 40 and along the North line of a 0.917 acre tract described in Instrument Number 1998009167 a distance
of 70.49 feet; thence continuing along said lines North 88 degrees 52 minutes 51 seconds West a distance of 261.32 feet to a cut “x” in concrete curb; thence South 88 degrees 29 minutes
14 seconds West along North line of said Instrument Number 1997003884 and along the said South right-of-way line a distance of 31.07 feet to a cut “x” in concrete curb at the Point
of Beginning of this description; thence continuing South 99 degrees 29 minutes 14 seconds West along said lines a distance of 210.00 feet to a railroad spike; thence South 00 degrees
04 minutes 24 seconds West parallel with the said East line a distance of 150.19 feet to a railroad spike; thence South 89 degrees 55 minutes 36 seconds East a distance of 209.92 feet
to a railroad spike; thence North 00 degrees 04 minutes 24 seconds East parallel with the said East line a distance of 165.00 feet to the Beginning Point, containing 0.781 acres, more
or less.
Passed and adopted this 10th day of July, 2000, by the Common Council for the City of Richmond, Indiana.
