No Trash, Recycling or Yard Waste Collection in Leesburg on
September 3rd Labor Day Holiday
Leesburg, VA (August 27, 2018) – There will be no trash, recycling or yard waste collection in
the Town of Leesburg on Monday, September 3, 2018.
Due to the Labor Day holiday, all collections will be shifted by one day. The revised schedule for
trash and recycling collection is:
Monday, September 3rd – No collections
Tuesday, September 4th – Northwest
Wednesday, September 5th – Northeast, Inside the Bypass
Thursday, September 6th – Northeast, Outside the Bypass
Friday, September 7th – Southwest, plus Meadowbrook
Saturday, September 8th – Southeast, except Meadowbrook
Yard waste will be collected in all areas of Town on Tuesday, September 4th.
Commercial curbside customers will not have trash collection on Monday, September 3rd.
Trash and recycling will be collected from commercial curbside customers on Tuesday,
September 4th.

Town of Leesburg offices will be closed on Monday, September 3, 2018, in observance of the
Labor Day holiday.
