CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Ron Fitzwater called the April 1, 2024 City Council “Pre-Meeting” to order at 5:45 P.M. to
review the agenda.
ATTENDANCE
The following Councilmembers were present when the meeting convened:
Present: Ahlers, Deeken, Hensley, Lester, Mealy, Schwartz*, Spencer, Spicer, Wiseman,
and Wright
Absent: None
*Participated virtually.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Councilmember Spencer will lead the prayer.
Miscellaneous Agenda Items
- There are several recognitions and presentations scheduled for tonight’s meeting
including recognizing the JC Parks Maintenance team, Police Communications Manager
Angela Stieferman, Serve Jeff City and Mission JC representatives, and “Fair Housing
Month” proclamation and poster contest winners.
Consent Agenda
- There were no questions at this time.
Bills Introduced
- City Staff presented their bills to be introduced.
Bills Pending
- City Staff presented their pending bills.
Informal Calendar
- Councilmember Mealy intends to leave bill 2023-081 on the informal calendar at this
time.
- Councilmember Spencer will take bill 2023-083 off the informal calendar for a vote.
- Councilmember Spencer intends to leave bills 2023-084 and 2023-085 on the informal
calendar per Staff’s direction.
Resolutions
- City Staff presented their resolution.
