Friends of Leesburg Public Arts Presents 2nd Annual “Arts in the
Alley” Street Fair on September 22, 2018
The event will feature local art and craft vendors in addition to art
demonstrations, children’s art activities, and two stages of live bands.
Leesburg, VA (September 11, 2018) – The
Friends of Leesburg Public Arts (FOLPA) is
hosting its second annual “Arts in the
Alley” street fair in downtown Leesburg
on Saturday, September 22, from 10 a.m.
to 6 p.m.
The fair will be located in the alley
between the Town parking garage and the
businesses on King Street, between
Market and Loudoun streets. More than
50 artists’ will be featured including art
demonstrations, children’s activities, a puppet show, and two stages of live entertainment.
Performing groups will include Last Ham Standing, Saturday Morning Brass Ensemble, Loudoun
Chorale, Potomac High School’s Classical Guitar Ensemble, RedSand Dance, Bharatanatyam
Dancers, and the Sterling Playmakers. A schedule will be available online.
There will also be a live auction at the Art Sweet Art, 2B Loudoun Street, featuring “Windows on
Leesburg Arts”, from 4 to 5 p.m. Proceeds will benefit FOLPA art projects in Leesburg.
Admission to Arts in the Alley is free and parking will be available in the Town Hall Parking
Garage and at the Church Street parking lot. The event will be held rain or shine. In case of rain,
all activities will be held inside the parking garage at the Loudoun Street entrance. For more
