HomeMy Public PortalAbout2009.188 (10-06-09)RESOLUTION NO. 2009.188 A RESOLUTION OF -THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING STAFF TO SEND OUT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR UTILITY BILL PRINTING, INSERTION AND MAILING SERVICES WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood's existing contract with our Utility Bill Printing and Mailing Services Agency has expired; and WHEREAS, it is a common practice by cities to solicit proposals for certain services; and WHEREAS, the .proposals received from Bill Printing Service Agencies would allow City staff to select a vendor that would be most effective and efficient. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES HEREBY FIND, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That staff be authorized and directed to send out a Request for Proposals for Bill Printing Services. Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
