A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AWARDING
A CONTRACT FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF THE LYNWOOD SEWER SYSTEM TO
ADVANCED SEWER TECHNOLOGIES AND AUTHORIZING f+T.HE~~MAYOR~~TO
EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT ( '
WHEREAS, the City sewer system consists of 430,000 linear feet of sewer
mainlines that need routine cleaning; and
WHEREAS, the Maintenance of the Lynwood Sewer System is listed under the
Maintenance Project, Project No. 6051.45.460.62015 for fiscal year 2009-2010, and is
funde~ith the W>aterEnterprise funds ;and

WHEREAS, the bid opening for this project took place on September 10, 2009,
and Advanced Sewer Technologies was the apparent lowest responsible bidder at
$80,775.00; and
WHEREAS, a reference check has revealed that the Contractor has the
necessary experience and expertise for this type of project.
NOW THEREFORE, THE LYNWOOD CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD DOES HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the contract of $80,775.00 for the Maintenance of the
Lynwood sewer System, Project No. 6051.45.460.62015 be awarded to Advanced
Sewer Technologies.
Section 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the agreement
between the Lynwood City Council and Advanced Sewer Technologies.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 6th day of October, 2009.
