A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING
THE STREET CLOSURE FOR OLANDA STREET AND DENY WAIVING THE
PERMIT FEES IN THE AMOUNT OF $538.00
WHEREAS, a request was made by the Block Club of Olanda Street to close a
portion of Olanda Street (between Stoneacre Street and Cookacre Street); and
WHEREAS, the purpose of the closure is to conduct a Parish Ministry Fair; and
WHEREAS, Saint Philip Neri Catholic Church located on Olanda Street are
requesting the street closure for Saturday, October 17, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
and Sunday, October 18, 2009 from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council denies the waiver of permit fees.
Section 2. The City Council approves the temporary street closure of Olanda
Street between Stoneacre Street and Cookacre Street for Saturday, October 17, 2009
from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday, October 18, 2009 from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
to accommodate a Parish Ministry Fair. Closing this portion of Olanda Street is
necessary for the safety and protection of residents who are to use this portion of the
street during the temporary closing.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon~its.adoption; ,~~ )
