A SPECIAL ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF
RICHMOND TO RECEIVE A DONATION
WHEREAS, the City of Richmond, Indiana, has the option of accepting or rejecting
donations for a specific purpose; and
WHEREAS, the acceptance of a donation for a specific purpose constitutes the
appropriation of such property for the intended purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, that the following donations for use at the Richmond Senior Center shall be accepted and gratefully
acknowledged by the citizens of Richmond:
Four Hundred Eighty Dollars ($480.00) from the Richmond Noon Kiwanis Club to be used for the purchase of table and chairs.
2. An electric treadmill from an anonymous donor.
Passed and adopted this 19th day of June, 2000, by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana.
