TlONAWARD-
\VHEREAS, Patrolman Wayne HundemaIill (hereinafte- "Hundematm") filed a
grievance against the Borough of Carteret with regard to ce in restrictions placed upon
him limiting his ability to participate in certain overtime and off-duty work assignments;
and
\VIIEREAS) the matter was submitted to arbitration and t e arbitrator has rendered a
formal decision with regard to the same; and
WHEREAS, the arbitrator mled in favor of the Boroug 's position, uphoJding its
decision to place restrictions upon Hundemal1n's participa[ on in certain ovel1ime and
ofl..-duty work assigrunents, except to the extent that the ar irTator authorized a limited
payment for overtime and off-duty work to Hundemanll wi respect to the initial sixty
(60) day period during which the Borough barred }-{unde 1a1111 from performing any
overtime or off-duty work assignments_
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor nd Council orthe Borough
ofCarteret as foHows·
1. That the Borough hereby accepts the dec sian of the arbitrator in the
Hundemaml grievance matter and the a propriate Borough officials
are hereby authorized and directed to implement the terms and
provisions of said arbitration award.
