RESOLUTION NO. 00 -3804
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY, CALIFORNIA,
DESIGNATING THE CITY COUNCIL AS THE COMPLETE COUNT
COMMITTEE FOR CENSUS 2000
WHEREAS, the State of California has provided certain funding for the purposes of carrying out
Census 2000 and;
WHEREAS, the County of Los Angeles has been charged with the responsibility of allocating
funds to cities on a countywide basis based upon compliance with certain criteria; and
WHEREAS, one of the prerequisites for receiving funding and for participating in this countywide
effort is that the City designate a Complete Count Committee; and
WHEREAS, the City has been and will continue to be actively engaged in outreach efforts and
statistical research to ensure an accurate census count.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Temple City shall hereby be designated as the
Complete Count Committee for Census 2000. Statistical research, outreach efforts, etc. shall be conducted
by City staff as necessary to ensure an accurate and complete Census count.
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution and shall forward
a copy of this Resolution to the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors. The City Clerk shall enter this
Resolution into the book of original Resolutions.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of February, 2000.

Council of the City of Temple City at a regular meeting held on the 1st day of February, 2000 by the
following vote:
AYES: Councilman- Gillanders, Souder, Wilson, Breazeal, Brook
NOES: Councilman -None
