I. Call to Order; Roll Call
A. Mayor Michael began discussion with an explanation of where we are at this oint in

A. Mayor Michael called meeting to order at 5:38PM
1. Upon roll call all councilors were found to be present.
II. Budget Review/Discussion

the budget process. She commended all department heads on their commitment to
keeping their budgets under control. With the assessed value going down as well as
growth factor we are looking at $79,000 less in tax revenue then from last year. We
will be appealing the shortfall of $196,000. If we do not receive the appeal dollars,
we will need to look at cutting more or using the Rainy Day Fund. Mayor Michael
shared that the budgets presented tonight are the balanced budgets with adjustments.
B. Discussion on various department budgets.
C. Council asked that information be provided regarding different options on Health
Insurance; higher deductibles, other health coverage options. Clerk Treasurer, Teresa
Glenn will look into this.
III. Adjourn
A. Bob Sedlack motion to adjourn, second by Tom Roach, discussion to set another
meeting to review budgets with department supervisors. It was decided to meet early
at 5:30 PM on August 9, 2005 regular meeting date, with normal order of business
first; department head discussion at conclusion of meeting, unanimously approved to
adjourn.
