AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRA CT WITH
CME ASSOCIATES FOR TAX MAP MAINTENAN E
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of professional cog neenng
services in connection with Tax Map Maintenance; and
\VJlEREAS, CME Associates, 1460 Route 9 South, Howell, New J rsey 07731,
possesses the requisite experience and expertise to provide said serv ees; and
\VHEREAS, CME Associates has submitted a proposal to provide aid services
at a total cost not to exceed $2,500; and
\VHEREAS, the Mayor and the Council have reviewed said propos 1; and
\VIIEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or will be
available for said purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and the ::::ouncil of the
Borough ofCarteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as ollows:
1. The proposal from CME Associates for professional engine nng servlces
related to Tax Map Maintenance at a total cost not to exceed $2,500 is
hereby approved;
2. A copy of this Resolution to be forwarded to the Borough's urchasing
Department and CME Associates.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this award is made as a p ofessional
services contract pursuant to NJ.S.A. 40A: 11-5(I)a. A notice 0 this award
shal1 be advertised as required by law.
