\VHEREAS, the Governing B dy 0 the Borough of Carteret has p evious1y entered into
a contract with Lucas Ele trie Co., Inc., for the lmprov nents to Roosevelt
Avenue/Washington Avenue Hol es Street project in an origin contract bid amount
of $155,237.50; and
\VHEREAS, the Borough's ( onsu1 ing Engineer for the project, &M Associates, has
advised the Governing Body that a modification to said contr ct is reasonable and
necessary to adjust for as-b ilt q antities and has recommend d that the aforesaid
contract be modified in accord nee ith Contract Change Order No 2 (see attached); and
\VHEREAS, Change Order I:\þ. 2 rovides for a net change in th contract price in the
amount of $0.00, resulting i a r vised contract price of $155237.50, including all
previously approved Change C ders; and
WHEREAS, the Borough's CbnsuI ing Engineers, T&M Associat s has advised that the
above described changes and/ r mo ifications were unforeseen at the time of the award
of the original contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE 1 RE OL VED by the Mayor and B rough Council of the
Borough ofCarteret, County 0 Mid lesex, State of New Jersey, as follows:

Contract Chang Ord r No.2, attached hereto and IT ade a part hereof,
resulting in ant cha ge of $00.00 in the overall cor fact price, including
al1 previous Ch þ.ge C rders, resulting in a revised co tract price of
$155,237.50, is ereb approved.
The appropriat Boro gh Officials are hereby autho . zed to execute
Change Order 1\)0.2 b sed upon the recommendatiOl of the Borough
Engineer.
A copy of this ~esol tion and a fully executed cop of Change Order No.
2 be forwarded to T M Associates for distribution to Lucas Electric Co.,
Inc.
